A Succesful Monday

Hi,

I'm finally getting to those pictures I've been promising. I'll start with some garden stuff. These are a couple of the newest additions to my flower bed. I'm not much into the tropical plants most northerners die over when they move here, except orchids, which are much easier to grow than most think. I prefer to try unusual things, definitely flowers for color. Must be the quilter in me!
Possibly these flowers aren't new to you, but they aren't common here.
Obviously, the last one is of me introducing our grandaughter to flowers.

Hi Cynthia
That little flower, ( thank you ) is our one and only grandchild. She's 14 months now, and I can't stand how much I love and enjoy her!!! I am incurable, ridiclously in love with her.

What fabulous flowers! I guess that's one major advantage to living in Florida.

Florida can have some gorgeous flowers. Actually when I moved here, I thought it was an ugly place. The green is a yellow green, not the deep green of the North, and there weren't any flowers to speak of. Not much to be found in the stores either. that was 40 years ago, but now, we can get many things you grow in cooler climes, they've either been modified, or we plant them differently. Some of your annuals are perrenials here. If you can't grow anything else, there'a always impatiens.
