Hi
Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend.
I've joined Slow Poke Quilters. It suits me well. When I first started, I thought I had to get it done! We all have met quilters who churn these things out, completely finished, at a whirlwind pace. I thought that's what a good quilter did, and tried to work like that. One day, a gal I worked with at the quilt store, and who make the most beautiful quilts, clothes, bags and home dec, was sewing away, but peacefully slowly. I asked her about that, and she said she sews for pleasure, not to rush. Duh!! Of course, what had I been thinking? Now I work at my own pace, make less mistakes, and love what I do. Check it out, join us as we share the process.
Blessings,
Linda

Welcome from one slow poke to another!
Hey Edna
thanks,
Look forward to getting to know you.
Linda
I think I would also be considered a slow poke. I also like to jump from one project to another! I am not sure what that would be called - perhaps ADHD!!
Oh Linda...
I TOTALLY agree! Quilting should always be for pleasure and I love the each step of the process...from choosing the fabric to binding the quilt!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog:)

Interesting concept - Slow poke quilter. It that why I have SEW many UFOs?
Enjoy your quilting. I agree with Lori. Enjoy your quilting time, it is not to be a race or a sprint but your passion and pleasure. Relax and enjoy.

Hi Lori
Thanks for stopping by.
It's fun to meet people of like minds.

Hey Cynthia,
I hate to think how they'd have labeled me if they were testing when I was in school. LOL
I have a hard time staying on just one thing. I'd like to think that means my mind is overactive and wonderfully bright, but I know better.

Hey Sue
Thanks for stopping in and commenting,
Let's make a pledge. We won't compare ourselves with "them". :)And we will delight in our individuality.

How do I sign up for Slow Poke Quilters? I fit right in.
Hi B-Z
It would be great to have you along. Just click on the logo on my page, and it will take you to the blog where it all started.
Welcome aboard,
As you can see most of the projects I show aren't finished, just tops. I think this means something psyche-wise, but I'm not asking any professional. LOL
